Context
ethereum.org is the canonical resource for the Ethereum ecosystem, the site newcomers, developers, and journalists reach first. Its content is maintained like code: every addition goes through public pull-request review by the ethereum.org team and community contributors.
Problem
Ethereum's privacy story lived in research posts, protocol docs, and conference talks, accurate but scattered, and mostly written for cryptographers. There was no canonical, plain-language explanation of what privacy on a public blockchain means, what technology exists (zero-knowledge proofs, private group membership, stealth addresses), and what a user or developer can actually do with it.
What I did
While at the Ethereum Foundation's Privacy & Scaling Explorations team, I authored the "Privacy on Ethereum" section of ethereum.org: scoping the content with PSE researchers, writing it for a general technical audience, and carrying it through the site's open review process to merge in September 2025.
Impact
Public-facing privacy education for the entire Ethereum ecosystem, on its most authoritative surface. The section is the reference material the community links to when someone asks "what does privacy mean on Ethereum?" Written once, read ecosystem-wide.
